The Museum of the Rockies will display its series of twelve paintings by Russell Chatham in the Front Gallery through February 5th. These paintings express the changing seasons of the Yellowstone Valley and the Missouri Headwaters during the twelve months of the year. The paintings are from the Museum’s fine art collections and were created in 1990 as part of a retrospective exhibition of the artist’s work.

The Museum is proud to announce the opening of “An Adventure in the Arts” February 17. The exhibit features world-famous modern art selections from the permanent collection of the Guild Hall Museum. They will be displayed in the Front and Back Changing Exhibit Galleries at the Museum until May 6th. Included are 73 Lemuel Maynard Wiles, Home Sweet Home, 1886, Oil on canvas Park County in February, oil on linen works of art by more than 40 artists, spanning the early 20th century through present times, who lived and worked in the East Hampton area.

Established in 1931, Guild Hall is the primary cultural center on the Eastern End of Long Island and the permanent home of this exhibition when it is not traveling. Included are extraordinary works by Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Thomas Moran & others. The Musem of the Rockies is located at 600 S. Kagy Blvd., on the MSU Campus.
